Bonneville Powerhouse 2 visitor center skybridge framing the cascade range in the background Bonneville Powerhouse 2 visitor center, looking towards the WA Fish Viewing Building Bonneville Powerhouse 1’s visitor center’s fish ladder. The fish ladder is dewatered for annual maintenance while the fish runs are low. You can see the iconic weirs gully exposed now rather than entirely submerged under water. most of my roll of film got messed up in processing, but at least two turned out okay (desperately need to rescan the negatives once I receive them)

screenshot of a message exchange. First text I received is from a listserv for a PAC supporting democrats that I did not voluntarily put my name on. I responded to the message saying “If I ever get one of these texts again, I will never vote for a democrat for the rest of my life”. The listserv sent another message today and I guess that means I’m never voting democrat again.

cows on a hillside. These cows were not at the dam (in fact they were roughly an hour away from the dam), but it was very important that they were included in the catalog of today Reservoir as seen from the top of some rail thingy where they gather logs that have floated down the reservoir wire storage, very important because wire is denoted three different times on this storage stall Dam! as seen from a rock outcropping on one of the hillsides overlooking the dam face and spillway

this might be one of the most accurate games I’ve played
game review for daily chess, 3 day time control. adike20 (white) vs theepickleiam (black). white played with a 79.9% move accuracy, and black played with a 90.9% move accuracy. The game lasted 28 moves, with white resigning. I played tactically very well this game, tacking advantage of white’s miscalculated tactic at the beginning of the middlegame.

pretty surprised by the distribution of votes for WA Res 8201. In fact, I was expecting the results to be almost the exact opposite of this
WA state map of how counties voted on state resolution 8201. Yellow counties are where a majority of voters rejected the resolution, and green counties are where a majority of voters approved the resolution. King, Snohomish, Thurston, Pierce, and Spokane counties notably approved of the resolution, whereas the majority of counties east of the Cascade range voted to reject the resolution.
