i know it’s scary but if you can’t overcome social anxiety enough to engage meaningfully with other artists the way you want to be engaged with, you will find it’s significantly harder to get eyes on your work. you need to be in the community to benefit from the community

i’ve been asked a lot how i sell art or get viewers or etc when i’m a very small creator overall and the real answer is: you can’t make 1000 excuses as to why you won’t reach out to people or self advertise, you just have to do it.
