Hi @emnlpmeeting.bsky.social I am still waiting for an invitation letter for an F visa. I have filled in the form twice and emailed the local visa committee, but no reply

@emnlpmeeting.bsky.social I have now registered. The letter generated on the registration site is not suitable. In fact it states on it 'This letter cannot be used to apply for an F or L visa.' I filled in the visa invitation letter form almost two weeks ago and have not received anything

It seems like the ARR AC guidelines don't give instructions for what the AC should do in the case of a very negative ethics review. Should the AC lower their scores and recommend rejecting the paper, if they are convinced by the ethics review? #emnlp2025
