I meant to review Boots. Had plenty of time until my work/mental health/family health imploded. I haven't finished it and it's a bit more silly and camp than I expected but if you want a story about being a closeted gay in a boot camp before (i believe) DADT, what I've seen so far is fun.

One thing I have been doing for self care is play Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. I stayed away from the first one because the fanbase seemed toxic and "anti-woke" but those same fans were pissed when the new game let's you mack on your fellow male friend. So I decided to try and I'm obsessed.

My check was missing ~1/3rd of my pay and it's going to make things tight. I'm privileged because I've lived through one of these that destroyed me so I started prepping since January. But most people can't afford losing 33% of their pay and then possibly not get any pay the following pay period

I'm at the stage of furlough where I don't really know what day or date it is. I would normally be planning for this long holiday weekend, but I literally forgot I should have a normal holiday Monday if the people running this government ever really governed. It's meaningless now.

Oh hell no! There's no way I could do that without that. I can't imagine!! 😨 I used that and the quick silk regen one and the one that gives more natural silk. And I kept going back to the worms to regain silk/heal. Took it really slow with plenty of pauses to wipe sweat from my hands 😅

Really it boiled down to me being too stubborn to leave 🤣 I ended up having to play it on my TV with the Pro controller and a cat who sensed my anxiety and sat on me until I completed it. It was a whole thing lol. I never did the Path of Pain in Hollow Knight so I have no comparison but damn
