Somewhere along the line I didn't like something I read there and I haven't looked back. It could have been about Russiagate, Covid, Ukraine, Gaza, Nordstream, some domestic US thing, even something about the UK. I don't recall exactly.

Yes. I'm sure you'll tell me I'm misremembering, but I think it was a Bellingcat piece I read that explained how Russia sabotaged Nordstream, and another that proved the Al Ahli hospital strike was an Islamic Jihad rocket.

Call it healthy skepticism based on experience. So for example, my vibes say COVID obviously did not occur naturally, and anyone who says it did should never be believed again, on any topic.

I don't trust any of the so-called OSINT outlets that pump out their "independent" research on whatever the news story of the hour is, almost always "verifying" exactly what the official nonsense version happens to be.

Off the top of my head, the various versions of the Nordstream pipeline sabotage and that farcical "Hamas" conversation about the Israeli missile that hit a hospital early in 2024.
