I avoided physical bullying, but yeah, wasn't until high school that I had friends and wasn't being bullied daily, and, in hindsight, I suspect part of my luck there was that there were kids who were more visibly queer who took the heat instead.

Unfortunately the publisher went bankrupt, so the second volume can't be bought in physical form, so far as I'm aware.

However, the entire series is up on Scribblehub and Ao3, and new chapters are posted early on Alyson Greaves' patreon.

It doesn't even make your payments all that much smaller than a 30 year loan! For the 200k @ 6% case, you're looking at $1200/month versus $1050/month. Not *nothing*, but not possibly worth it.

And, like, even a decade ago you could get displayable tat for most fandoms pretty trivially. Stuff that *wasn't* as soulless as Funkos

I never got it, either. Like, if it was 20 years ago, when getting figures for *anything* was rare? Sure, OK, you want a little bit of tat for your favourite fandoms. But in this era when you get high-quality figurines or plushies for *anything* I just...do not understand it

Oh, hey, yeah, from the trailer this feels very NieR-meets-Ico, which, I mean, yes please?

AI’s plagiarism laundering should absolutely be fought with zeal, but false accusations, ignorance of art techniques, misunderstanding the problem to the point of “computers bad,” it’s all gonna discredit and obfuscate the thing that should be fought.

Same goes for using “AI” as a casual insult.

It's even more fun if you're trying to recommend it to folks who are aware of forcefem stuff of yore. "Now, I know what this *sounds* like..."

The story isn't doing what I think, perhaps, you think it's doing from the blurb.

It's mostly an *extremely* fluffy dense egg fic. The part of the blurb pointing out that she's happier and more fulfilled since transitioning is kinda important

No, no, your first question is also reasonable :P

This one is fire, though

Sisters of Dorley, When You Fell From Heaven, and Kimmy, all by Alyson Greaves, are all great.

Sisters had its publisher implode, so web serial format is the best way to read it, and while WYFFH is good, it's the not-quite-published-yet book two where it *really* shines.
