I am really becoming enamored with the DC Compact format -- smaller editions of complete stories, $10 a pop. As you can see, I've bought 4 of them so far, 2 Alan Moores, 2 Morrison/Quitelys. If there's any criticism, it's they don't have enough I'm interested in.

RIP Gary "Mani" Mounfield. Bassist for the Stone Roses and later Primal Scream. The bassline to "I Wanna Be Adored" is simply exquisite. Far too young at 63.

Dinner with @beamel72.bsky.social tonight was a dog run. Hit Nana's in Streamwood for makeshift coneys (chili was kinda watery) and Rand Red Hots in Des Plaines for a double char dog, Chicago style. Hit Kuma's in Schaumburg for drinks in between.
