Played through Horses and I'm even more confused why this was "banned" given the fact that there's always existed games that have shocking imagery and this one honestly is like...not even the worst of it. A strange game as a whole but one I think is at least some good food for thought.

Routine also has peak doohickey gun

Absolute wetdream of 80s technology

Routine kicked ass, love me a good arthouse horror game and that delivered on so many fronts after, what, 13 years in development? Not a groundbreaking or insane game, but one of those games where I can think about it and go "yeah thats got some artsy sauce"

Curious if you have any thoughts on Xuan Yuan Sword! I was looking at this on Switch, it looked really neat!

Astlibra Revision is now up there on my top 10 games I've ever played. What a marvel of a video game pulling from so many stock sources, having such immense narrative chops, and somehow pulling it altogether with a very simple set of characters and tropes to work off of.

Astlibra is the fakest fucking video game I have ever played and it's honestly shooting up there as one of the greatest games I have ever played because holy FUCK this narrative goes places, the gameplay is tight as chips, and the sheer effort of the dev to use mostly public domain assets is insane.

Just finished Indika, man that's a good narrative using game mechanics as part of the larger narrative, real good shit

I got my first pre-con a week or so ago for Commander as well, but I've been retooling the deck to fit around my current favorite card: Vivi!

The topic is: terrible games that make me nostalgic because I played them as a kid.

I didn't have a whole whole lot growing up so I enjoyed what I could. Going back to these in recent years with my current mindset, these games definitely struck me as aging probably the poorest.
