I'd say as a piece of art, it does what it needed to and did it pretty damn well, warts and all with the actual engine/animation work. Primo sound design to really send it home by the very end.

Yeah and a big part of it too, like i noted, was a lot of generational/religious trauma that also gets touched on and is part of the whole aspect of the trafficking and 'fascism' on display by stripping those who are seen as 'deviant' from all their rights to be treated as livestock.

I usually don't dig that hard into thematic aspects in arthouse stuff since I can't really write something to the level of explaining what clicks for me or what I get out of it, but this at least I can pull enough from and understand that y'know...

This has every right to exist and thrive.

The fact this game has so much shocking imagery and uses it to make a statement about fascism, generational/religious trauma, and how horrid people act like 'deviant behavior' is synonymous with being a full on horrid person is pretty thought-provoking imo.
