Ooh, I'm pretty sure this is an Orange-Crowned Warbler I spotted in the brush in Indian Boundary Park yesterday. Wasn't a fan of sitting still out in the open. This was the best shot I got.

I haven't posted much if any about my fitness journey here. Last year I felt so out of shape and depressed, tonight I finally broke a 10 minute mile for the first time in at least 8 years. It feels so good!

Went to shoot fireworks last night. Waiting to start I had an epiphany. The techniques I use for my fireworks photos can be applied to any long exposure of discrete point sources of light. So here are some boats out on the river and the bridge spanning it.

That was epic! I might start listening to NPR more if they could regularly get conservatives to cry like a bitch or scream "not fair, not fair" as they break down in the face of facts.

Hard disagree. We will remember that our Senators resolved to officially state that "Mr. Kirk’s life’s work has contributed to strengthening public discourse, defending constitutional principles, and fostering active citizenship"
