Today I decided to put my current wall sections together to see how big it all looks together. Although I certainly need to make a few more sections to have a bit more variety and make larger or different designs of fortifications, it is looking good, although they need paint

Another example of the end result once the keypads and screens were glued to the buildings that are currently painted. Still need to cover the rest of the wall sections with sand and get them painted though. One thing at the time 😉

Finally managed to paint the 8 screens and the 8 keypads. The colour difference on some keypads is meant to match the fact that I am going to paint the outer doors in red and the inner doors in red. Minis were used to give a rough scale reference

Mine collection is all roughly 28mm so I separate differently, but that is quite nice!

I have been making progress on my control consoles, as you can see each keypad is quite small and hard to photograph properly, but you should be able to see nine relatively square buttons in a relatively cylindrical keypad. Not bad considering how I am making them.

Today I painted part of my modular wall sections, including a simple wall section and a gate (the one with doors on both sides). I might need to add some control consoles to open/close the gates to give them a few more details. IG HWT fit on top with space to spare

A small diorama I made inspired by the shelters raiders have on top of buildings in Fallout 4. The sofas are furniture from a very cheap dollhouse and the tables were made with cardboard and used matches.

I painted this large rocky outcrop about a month ago. The base for the hill was a piece of styrofoam that was covered with pieces of paper, tree bark to make the rocks and a few leftover materials to make some smaller rocks and debris.

A few months ago I converted a cheap dollhouse into suburban terrain. It is not perfect for the usual 28mm scale soldiers I build, but it is close enough and models actually fight inside the rather simple interior. The Games Workshop mini outside is for scale purposes.

Sometimes I like to do things with materials that have already served its purpose, like used matches. In this case I used them to build a set of modular trenches that can be combined in different layouts. Miniatures in the pictures are from Archon Studio.

Earlier this week I painted a small diorama consisting of an area covered in grass, with some rocks and mud in the mix. The grass is made with wood chips and the rocks were made with tree bark. The objective with this was mostly to experiment with making grass.
