Your friendly neighborhood science communicator, nonprofit consultant, and pretty okay dude.
What the world needs now is Obama to start clowning and declaring himself the candidate to beat DJT in 2028. He needs to run distraction to really throw the orange menace off his game. Go so far as to name Mayor Pete as the next Diamond Joe Biden.

I use a wheelchair, and Rep. Crockett’s calling Gov. Abbott “Hotwheels” is nowhere near as insulting as trying to get rid of Medicare/Medicaid.

Roger Marshall is so Kansan, he clicks ruby red MAGA slippers to run away. Of course he wakes up in Florida.

He’s scared of actually facing his constituents.

I’m on a Working Healthy program through Medicaid. I feel like even though I’ve worked hard to get to work full time. Without this program I will be forced to retire again, and will basically be back to “waiting to die” Embarrassed I worked so hard to succeed.

We will not win every battle.

What we can not do is start a circular firing squad.

The Republicans NEED to divide us to achieve their agenda.

Don't fall for it.

United we win.

Divided we fall.

Nonprofits can only tackle issues they understand. Understanding the needs of the community starts with open dialogue, active learning, and meaningful collaboration. Get Data. Get Serious. Let the voices of the community guide the mission. Stick to the mission.

I get asked a lot to write grants for small organizations, but does your nonprofit have a healthy view of how to secure funding for your projects? Diversifying revenue streams—like program fees, social enterprises, and partnerships—ensures sustainability and greater impact.

It’s a matter of paperwork… While a nonprofit corporation is a state-level designation, the 501(c)(3) status is a federal, nationwide designation awarded by the IRS.

Looking to make sure you’re in status to take tax deductible donations from your supporters? Heartland Nonprofit Coaching can help.
