I really liked the "What did I learn about Rust?" in Alex's writing here. I'm not exactly sure why; I've been trying to articulate why for a few minutes and've come up short.
The used Sony a7s ii i bought from ebay came with seven batteries, two chargers, and a SmallRig cage, so that's pretty cool. It was on the cheaper end of the price range, too! The hot shoe has some corrosion, I'm not sure it works, but who needs one of those, anyway.

writing an etch-a-sketch simulator. i forgot why. i can't imagine i will ever etch any sketches, but i started working on it and now i want to finish it. so here we are so far!

I was researching growing Calypso Beans for a project and found the following advice. I /do/ love beans and might just try to grow some again sometime.
"Beans prefer warm soils and may rot at lower temperatures. This is particularly true for white seeded varieties. You love beans. Patience."
