And this is how much there is to know. Some people (women, gender-diverse people) have it more difficult daily, as discrimination/objectification happens very often. Another student shared two episodes one yesterday and the other on Friday. It's tiring to lack basic freedom as walking or use the gym

In my language, gender and sexuality class I have an activity where we talk about our experiences (obviously they are free to share what they want to the extent they want) and one student started: "for example, this morning".

Let's talk about monolingual culture! The expense system my university uses wants me to add the names of the restaurants I had dinner at while in Thessalonki... but all the receipts have the names in GREEK. I am currently using "name in Greek".

I am in Italy and coincidentally i was able to attend the general strike to support people in Gaza. Mine is a small town but at least 1000 people gathered, lots of kids. It was emotional to sing Bella Ciao.

Studying for the "life in the UK test" when teaching what I teach is a whole new experience (of utopia/dystopia). I am now going to read the section "media and the government". My worry is that, during the test, I'll go with what I perceive the 6 to be rather than what's in this book.
