Probably not a savant of metacognition
Definitely not an encyclopedic synthesist
Here for the elucidation
Anywhere in the bullseye is close enough 😁

Call the warden of that prison - a federal employee - to your committee to testify about this.

There are (10^80)! force interactions between particles 😁

I should point out here, national debt in cryptocurrency would be utterly disastrous in every conceivable way.

Oligarchs fighting the New Deal funded the Chicago School of Economics to undermine the public and institutional understanding of monetary theory. Reserve-based currency was a zero-sum game that well-serves those with the highest scores. They want us to think we're still in the game rigged for them.

Inflation comes from shortages, debt in foreign currency, or inability to enforce taxation. That adding more currency to circulation causes inflation is an unproven myth, likewise to inflation from national debt in that nation's sovereign currency.

The government spends resources, giving credit in exchange. The government also gives debt (taxation), and between this push and pull everyone else is motivated to be middlemen, growing our productivity. This bigger, higher-volume economy then needs more credit with which to facilitate transactions.

Being the global reserve currency has been a huge grand strategy coup, but it's not actually important to our economy - our economy can do much better if we recognize that currency is not a limited resource. The national debt is our currency, and the interest we pay on it is just more new currency.

He should run for office!

I think he'd win! I mean, I would never vote for him to represent me - I just wish him on all the other office-holders.

Oh, I've noticed. The myth makes a pretty good goal, though - might be able to talk people into it if a path to achieve it can be devised.

(I mean, it's worked for that before... *sigh*)

Pitchforks and woodchippers!

The America I believed in as a child is a place worth creating.

It's a simple dream: Liberty and Justice for All.

It's ruined by all these people trying to be picky about who 'All' includes - in-group values poison all others.

You are clearly more respectable than @moderation.bsky.app.

(How much you wanna bet this gets hidden?)

I'm not sure how it doesn't break the narrative to tell his followers "It's a hoax and we're investigating the Democrats over it!"

I'm sure the blackmail operation made victims victimize the new victims - maybe they think "see we're all victims" will be a defense.

I give the credit to Star Trek - creatures would have to leave a trail of filth everywhere they go for us to even entertain a discussion of exclusion (and that discussion would likely end with the exclusionists being shamed).

The hoarders aren't even claiming more resources for themselves, they're just extracting all the opportunity so that everyone else's choices will depend upon the hoarders' permission. They've got the resources they want - now they impoverish everyone, destroying wealth, for power over lives.

If this is what they call having no vision, I guess that was the problem then.

Otherwise, it was definitely having no vision.

Maybe add a speaker playing the woodchipper noise 😶

The news about these guys frequently remind me of C.S. Lewis's 'That Hideous Strength'. They got the end they deserved... but I don't think Merlin's going to get involved for us.

I prefer the analogy of 'climbing one another to escape drowning', because the last one still drowns 😶
