Oh yeah! Born in the land of Big Red (although Houston was entrenched in Dr. Pepper).

When I went to Scout Camp in San Marcos they'd have 2-liters of Big Red for picnics and campouts. 😎

HSP's aren't always bound by their introversion and hypersensitivity 24/7! Grounding and reframing help immensely.

But, a caveat. My true-to-life bumper sticker would read: "My abnormal sensitivity is not your problem." Because I know there are tools that de-escalate my perceived frustration & still allow me to function. I start by realizing people often don't know how they contribute to another's experience.

I thought that being in the office 3 days a week would help with my sensitivity to my neighbor's noisiness.

It has not.

The living room is a chamber of mid-range resonance that either requires white noise to offset or over-ear headphones worn by me to eliminate.

HSP + anxiety is awesome! 😀
