I know it's all metaphorical when Eivor fights Odin in Valhalla, but she also makes a point of rejecting that side of her, so it makes me confused. I could take it as a metaphor for what she learned in her new life that changed her as a person, but you're the writer.

Way more enjoyable than his DC work that's for sure. When he writes about grounded shit it hits so much more.

Yeah I agree, it's not that they ignore the mecha but they engage with that part deeper than just aesthetics. At least that's what I understand from what I like :p
