Played a doomed NPC in a one-shot yesterday to help establish backstory for another player's PC. The GM let me impulsively bring in my own PC in the moment b/c it made sense with the plot set-up, and now our PCs will have beef in the upcoming game. GMs like this are the literal best ever. ❤️

I've been thoroughly enjoying my read of "An Elegant Madness: High Society in Regency England" by Venetia Murray. She includes loads of quotes from actual contemporary letters and writings, which I love, and I'm super jealous of her invite to stay at Chatsworth while doing her research. 😅

I think the best response I've seen to AI anything has been, "Why should I bother reading something that nobody could be bothered to write"
