I feel really great about shopping on Etsy instead of Amazon this year for many of my Christmas/holiday gifts! I didn’t know what I was missing!

We will be supporting the economic blackout today! I’ve stopped shopping altogether at Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and others…and have added Amazon. It’s challenging but one small way I can express my disgust with all that’s happening.

Because I know I needed this pick-me-up….first orchid I’ve ever kept alive and that bloomed a second time on my watch 🥰. Gotta find the good/small bursts of joy where we can. And we need to share them…

So I stopped shopping at Walmart once I learned about their contributions to the current administration. I thought Target was a safe backup. Now I don’t want to support them either. I can’t go to Costco for everything. Where to shop?

So far I’m disabling my FB and IG, started my BlueSky account and am looking to follow those committed to making a difference. Donated to Women’s March and set up a monthly donation to ACLU. These are all such small things…but maybe if enough of us start small…..💪🏼🙏🏻
