Oh that makes sense, and I've started to feel the same way myself about Miller's writing. It has a tone of old man yelling a cloud to me now, but for most comic readers, it's the first Batman story they've read that's so complex politics, writing style, etc.

I'm curious since you specifically said the film it not the content of the comic you have and issue with? Is there a reason like the animation or something they got wrong in the adaptation?
