A very early GenX, living up to my generational expectations by staying mostly invisible. I'm here for progressive politics and herding dog pictures. An actual photographer, filmmaker (25+ years), now finishing graduate work in bioethics. BA Phil/Psych.

Again I say into the void: stop saying the ICE officer had no time to think. Time doesn’t start when the drama starts. They drove up. They walked up. They engaged. Stop saying there is only reflex, no thought. If so, stop arming ambulatory startle reflexes & calling them cops

She's frustrated, perhaps not by the administration's orientation, but by her inability to control and rise above the others. She just wants more power, like the rest of them.

I still can't say with any certainty that this is a good photo, let alone a work of art. But I do like it and find pleasure in it.

'The only dissenting voice to Donald Trump came from a woman, Mariann Edgar Budde, Episcopal bishop of Washington'
'This woman's intervention and her courage are a ray of hope in the face of the merciless world on which Trump wants to refound America,' wrote theologians Sylvaine Landrivon and Anne Soupa in this op-ed.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.
