Due to my electric company being ran by incompetent morons I'm about to be hit by a hefty bill for months worth of charges that weren't actually charged. In addition to a potential (uninsured) medical thing I unfortunately need to plug this again. Anything helps soften the blow

18) Hereditary (2018)

I started this a few years ago but couldn't finish it. Now I finally did and it was 100% worth it. Utterly miserable and oppressive but a true masterclass in acting, writing and sound design. So much dread, but I loved it. The demonology it explores is also fascinating.
