The decades-long attack on NSFW/fetish/kink creatives on the Internet has been ongoing, and it's all connected; from niche proto alt-right Internet forums to DeviantArt ranters and Collective Shout. Here is my illustration showing this.

An illustration I made, showing how the right-wing had conditioned many people to be against NSFW/fetish stuff for decades on the Internet. From the start with websites like Something Awful and 4chan, a lot of groups were demonized with the same umbrella as being "degenerate". This was conditioned by establishment media trying to cash in on Internet culture, DeviantArt ranters, commentary YouTubers, etc. This is what I believe to be why so many people online nowadays are so prudish; they grew up with decades of this sort of propaganda. Now, with NSFW/kink stuff on the line because of payment processors and Collective Shout, this influence is alarming! You wonder why many people just lob accusations at creatives of them shoehorning in fetishes in their media (like towards industry animators, due to the art medium being a huge focus on the cultural attack on NSFW by the right) ? This is because people are conditioned online by the prudish culture promoted by influencers online at that time. These accusations further enable payment processors and governments to clamp down on NSFW/kink/fetish stuff and anything that can be seen as it. Not to mention how conservatives would redefine LGBTQ+ identities as pornographic to further oppress them. I want more people to connect the dots and see that the war against freedom seeps through so much more than what just most people think.

1) Specifying no FICTIONAL noncon
2) No "dangerous" kink
3) No DISCUSSING self harm, suicide, or substance abuse unless its "educational"
