Ending the week at 66 miles. Been consistent, but tired. Pretty good considering I missed a day as I prep for moving. A lot of snow and rain here in the northeast so finished with a double on the treadmill today. #running

Landed at 65 this week, but lower than expected. Had another good run in Newton and met some new folks. Ended up losing a few of them but picked it up a bit on one of the later miles to try and catch them. Kind of pushed it a bit too much (5:45). #running

Finishing week around 75, had one faster day in newton followed by a long run on Sunday. Both with running partners which did make passing the time a lot easier. #running

Drop back week before second ramp up. (64 miles) Had a faster long run, running solo and started to incorporate the arc trainer post run. I see why Parker Valby uses it, definitely gets the heart rate up at higher resistances. #running

Ending the week at a drop back 73 miles. My knees felt kind of rough bumping up to 100 last week, but I was able to do two up tempo 5ks on the treadmill after a long run.

Was a bit icy on the roads today, saw a Honda civic flipped on its top. Fortunately no one was seriously injured. #running

Ending the build week a lot higher than expected 102.9. Did a 9 mile longish run followed by 8 on treadmill at faster pace.

Feeling pretty good overall but a bit tired due to the mileage ramp. Next week should be a drop back week. #running

Another day, another 13 miles on the treadmill. Feels like 2 degrees outside right now. First round of treadmill was just some running with about 5x155m sprints at about 4:38min/1 mile pace mixed in. #running

Ending the week at 82. Feel good! Did a trail run day before which strengthened some of the other muscles. Did 14 with my run club and 6 on treadmill after. #running

Made it to 70, so a bit over this week (67). I was supposed to throw in some mp miles but I decided to get back home and wrap up some faster intervals on treadmill. Will need to do a bit more mp volume in the long run next week. Friends I ran with were great and nahant is beautiful. #running

Second day / second week of plan. Still on track did 8 miles with 8 x 155m. It should really be 100m but I added a bit more cause it takes the treadmill some time to hit the top speed.

Ending week 1 3 miles short . Was a big jump up so I am a bit tired. I don’t quite know how to get to 87 -100 miles with the holiday shopping and other life things. Will cross that bridge post holidays. #running

Start of the marathon season! Will be #running quite a few runs on the treadmill due to the winter / lack of sunlight. Time to get some new playlists together. Goal is to try to not have the same songs in top 5 for Spotify wrapped next year.

Will be starting a tougher plan relatively soon. I always miss the volume in some of the middle weeks so goal this time is consistency. Got a run in mid day and I feel like we are starting this one at a good fitness level. #running

the fourth leg of the mill cities relay and had a solid showing. This relay features 5 runners from all the local New England running clubs running a leg through a different mill town. Mine was through Lowell, MA to Lawrence, MA. These are not always the nicest places, but are hidden gems. #running

Boston was great, had to stop four times throughout the end due to the legs locking up, but still managed under 3 hours. Difficult day, but happy with the fight to the line.

Will be starting a new plan for an upcoming marathon soon. I will be using a tool by the author nanreh (github.com/nanreh/) / about page www.defy.org/hacks/calend.... This allows you to generate a common plan from a subset of plans provided to generate a ical file you can import.

#running my first 80 mile week. This was kind of a high mileage ramp up for me but feel good and have been consistent. I am now in reach for a long run. One key thing that has helped me thus far is doing doubles on two of my days was really just breaking up and 11/12 mile run into two A.M/P.M.
