September 2023 erlebte Thessalien (Griechenland) eine Flutkatastrophe. Satelliten zeigten dort eine überflutete Fläche von 638 km² – ca. 1,5 Mal die Fläche von Wien.
Das GIF zeigt die Ausbreitung der Flut (rot markiert), erstellt aus einer GFM Flutkarte und berechnet mit einem TU Wien Algorithmus
