I'm advocating meat reduction in my daily life. I have a fraction of the normal amount of meat and I casually mention it from time to time when I'm out. It's less taxing than vegetarianism, culturally and financially, and if everyone reduces meat a little bit it makes a huge difference.

Hatchet was a good read. I re-read it a couple of times and I wish I still had my old books because I had a couple others like that as well.
