Just want to quickly remind everyone that in the US, coroners are elected officials. So, if your local coroner isn't vociferously opposed to the Trump regime, you can vote them out. If you're licensed to practice medicine, YOU SHOULD RUN FOR CORONER/CME ! We need more progressive coroners.

I keep trying to explain this to people: guns aren't going to solve our safety problems, only allies can do that. Trans women need allies, not firearms.

Never mind that "they should carry a gun to be safe," means "they should be prepared to kill someone to protect themselves." That's a disturbing thing to demand of anyone.

If trans women want to be armed, they should be, but I don't know that it's the solution to the dangers they face.

Rudy is deploying an AppView on the Blacksky infra so that moderation can go to them instead. They have two servers for the general public & one closed server you don't need to be black. I'm going to migrate. Rudy & team are deploying an AppView which will allow them to ctrl moderation independently

Also, legislators are subject to direct public pressure and action. Local offices can be taken by us b/c progressive policy is popular policy, and we can learn to be effective & work with local orgs.
