It's hard to be cruel to your characters. Do I want them to easily defeat the evil dark wizard? Sure. But, sorry, they have to crawl through scorpion invested cactus fields with their hands tied behind their back. And no shoes.

Our cat has hyperthyroidism. We gave him the I131 treatment. It's radiation. I'm quite sad about it. Not for the cat, he's fine, eating like a champ and living his best life. But like, he didn't get a single super power. Not one. AND he doesn't even glow in the dark.

Great first day back on the socials. I think. I don't feel any more social though.
