Failed removing the bezel whilst keeping the old screen in tact. I probably should have read a manual, maybe the application of little bit of heat to soften the glue would've helped.

And I've just swapped the screen for the 4K version, which is brighter and better colours.
battery life is going to be worse, but most of the day it sits docked, and only comes out to play on evenings and weekends, so shouldn't compromise my usage too much.

Just upgraded to 48GB of RAM (the price on amazon for DDR4 Double the week I was buying, but picked some up from ebay).

yea we're propagating complexity an incredible pace, it'll be interesting to see the impacts of this and how we cope with our systems in the future

When really a lot of the challenge is to build better software platforms. AI should be a part of that, but the current approach to treating software as factory seems to risky to me.

The creation of lots of new LOC by AI seems to me to present a risk in the future that we're going to become over burdened and have a huge increase in cognitive load to deal with maintenance and refactoring of AI generated code.

At the point I was testing the uri as s3://macjc94denw8u.mrap/rules.guard but I did run some tests with MRAP ARN. I'll try and get some time tomorrow to get some more data.
