If we hope to turn this around, it will require inspirational leadership. Not more Schumers, Jefries, and Harrises. A new generation. Probably some white guy to convince less educated men to find the good god gave them.

Mr. Reich understands reality well enough. Agreed, the Ds are the only way out. I will never see a better country than post war America before Reagan. I hope, if ever given the chance, the democratic party won't have to re-learn Reconstruction ... or the failure to imprison the insurrectionists.

Quite likely, because he understands political parties are too partisan. We were warned. Until parties don't matter, sure the Ds are the lesser of partisan evil doers. It's so tiring, dealing with everyone's religion and partisanship.

Nice to have another leader stand steady. Powell is the fourth or fifth Chair in my experience. He's good as I've seen.
