I loathe confrontations, but things sometimes strike, similar to Kierkegaard's remark, a question arose out of ignorance, not knowing why. Young women, not always in distress, are easily exploited seeking the benefit of wealthy men. Not a good thing.

If we were a more charitable people, and after more than a century of 'colonial' exploitation of southern Americans by US corruption of their political system, maybe if we helped rebuild their economies, these refugees would not have to flee for their lives and their children's futures.
