I said from the beginning that the issue with the BCS was not selection criteria, but selection size.
With the advances in sports analytics we’ve seen over the last 5-10 years, I would LOVE to go back to “computer” rankings.
Find 3-5 models with different biases and average them. Boom. Done.

I said from the beginning that the issue with the BCS was not selection criteria, but selection size.

This feels like the absolute worst version of the committee we’ve seen and people are going to make very sweeping changes to scheduling that would be net negatives for the sport overall because of this current rotation of doofuses.
Alabama moving ahead of Notre Dame is utterly confounding. Nothing happened last weekend to warrant that.
