It’s weird how normalised it is that democracy doesn’t actively exist in a major part of people’s lives and the comeback of the journalist is “but is democracy in the workplace mandatory” like it’s some form of limitation of freedom to not have a hierarchy based on capital

I learned in my country villages used to have a borrowing system where people would mark on their gates what important tool they had so if someone needed it they'd know where to go, you can still see it on some old gates/houses

association with Nazi uniforms like even pre-WW1 Prussian/German uniforms, I think I’ve even seen an anime use this design, plus they are more colourful/interesting

It would almost pass as a mistake if this wasn’t apparently the loading screen.
I get why she didn’t want to use a modern military uniform since those gave up a lot of their decorative elements but she could have very easily used something that was based on older uniforms that didn’t carry the

They just generally sound like they are completely detached from the concept of empathy for fellow human beings and are trying to understand why people are freaking out at the sight of dead children knowing the context that they are enemies of a US ally

Yeah I can relate to that, dropped a hard drive a few months back and my laptop broke a bit afterwards so lost a whole bunch of stuff, including a whole animated short film which was 90% finished but I forgot to back up as I had to start working on other projects

Also to be fair even in Shakespeare’s work Brutus didn’t really come off as a 2D villain that stabs his friend for fun, it’s more of a failure of education generally since the Roman Republic and it’s fall should be incredibly important to study

I don’t think it’s just a name recognition thing, the favourable/unfavourable thing was based on opinion and the fact that Brutus is more hated than Caesar is a really bad sign in a country that’s supposed to be a republic
