a "wheel" like layout with a spoke for each month of the year. in the gaps between spokes are art done that month. The first two months are blank and say "depression! layoff! job hunt!" the images in the other 10 months are mostly illustrations, several of lady inferno. some month have sketches / less completed doodles, but May - October each have a more finished illustration

okay well by going through and categorizing things, I:

1) reconsidered what I thought of as "finished", and
2) really proved myself wrong on this lol

lots of previously ignored sketch pages that now feel "finished" to me because they had involved editing/arranging/extra effort to look nice

I wish this were *generally* true, because it is objectively funny, but it looks like that chart is only Open-Source (so: free) models. Later on they have this one that's across all models in the study, including closed-source ones
chart showing relative LLM usage by category over time. programming accounts for 50%, roleplay is maybe 15-20%?

i finally finished act 3 of silksong, 100% completion, filled the hunters journal

honestly so happy and relieved that i can finally think about (and draw) something else.

as for suggestions, forge daughter is of course excellent. they're super basic but I'm also weirdly endeared by these pondskimmer enemies for some reason? the little sound they make is good to me, and the way they shwoop forwards is cute

I've had this saved for years and it always feels relevant. The "technofix" of distributing load away from big corpocentralized services into things where you have more control and autonomy 100% springs from a different set of values, which are becoming more and more prevalent *and* necessary

Let me say this again: If you "disrupt" people's lives and the wider society without putting the infrastructure in place to help everyone survive and thrive in the situations you've caused, then you have roughly the same moral value as a house fire. You can't Technofix Values Problems. Try "Flow adaptably and cultivate things." or maybe even just "Match pace and fix the shit you broke."
