Also for real I hate how there's this trend of trying to remove all the wires from everything, headphones, controllers, you name it. Wired shit always feels and works better and doesn't have the added cost of shit like bluetooth and a need for batteries or charging, but "WIRELESS IS THE FUTURE" smh

I think it's less strictly "cheaper to make" and more "has better profit margins".

Like the overwhelming majority of people don't need a truck or a goddamn SUV, but the car companies make more per vehicle sold off of them because less stringent regulations, so they market the shit out of them.

Look if someone tells you Halo 3 is their favorite game you wouldn't have to squint to understand it even if it isn't your personal fave.
