Sometimes I wonder if part of the reason we don't view rereleases of games that use titles with the words "remastered" and "directors cuts" is because of the familiarity of those words despite the fact they are by and large inaccurate descriptors for games

More than anything the people who partake so heavily in AI generation are all too often just plain boring

i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!

Santa Ragione spoke up, but how many more won't because of this exact problem? If you're a primarily PC developer, Steam *is* your lifeblood. Steam might be great for consumers but they are absolutely, 100% a monopoly and it isn't healthy that their competitors are not viable.

the whole "don't play the game, just watch a video on youtube that will explain its story to you" is so disheartening because the issue of accessibility is genuinely really important but it's always just people who want to be spoon-fed nicely quantifiable information

I swear almost everything I've seen him do or say that wasn't in a script he looked either kinda or very much like an asshole
