I think what many people don’t realize is that Trump is a tabula rasa of sorts when it comes to right wing extremism. Yes he’s definitely a racist and, above all else, a capitalist, but the rest has to be pumped into him constantly to stay on track.

Whenever one of my co-workers does the whole “oh, you live in Oakland? How is that?” Initiating the whole “is it safe, should I be scared of it?” routine, I tell them the truth. Oakland, California is the best city in the nation. Nothing else even comes close baby 😎

Anything can be bad when you fundamentally misunderstand the problem. The issue is that “the left” has no officially defined apparatus to govern and regulate its political image. It is a loosely defined network of ideologies and talking heads. When you are disorganized anyone can wear your badge
It's extremely bad for left politics that we are apparently incapable of doing the internal hygiene required to keep these vicious bullies from claiming the mantle of "leftism"

It’s time I speak my truth. Re-doing the “angels with filthy souls” bit in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York just to have them say “merry Christmas, ya filthy animals” is a weak part of a weak sequel. It’s a fine movie but that part makes me cringe also it’s got Donald Trump.
