every system that allows for neverending play has top end progression issues imo, but the promise of rolling MOUNTAINS of dice to do the thing your character is really good at doing in a really major way helps drives a lot of the fun

this is the best system i've ever run a game in, and i basically had my players doing a final fantasy. there were crystals and long forgotten empires suddenly becoming relevant to the plot and giant towers and chocobos and everything. perfect system.

had a fellow GTA say in a meeting one time that our main job was to help students learn how to google things well and it made me mad at first but over time they have been proven more or less correct. imo knowing how to find good info makes it easier to see how bad LLMs are.
