good list in the post below this one, but you really have to just start with the labor theory of value, since everything else is connected to that. yes, it's heady, but the knowledge you obtain while learning it will set you up for good and open your mind to entire constellations.

watched Sinners (i'll do a letterboxd later) tonight, Frankenstein last week, and Weapons the week before that. i can comfortably say that one of them is pretty good, one is pretty great, and one is pretty fucking amazing, and if you've seen all 3 you know which is which.
