you could even have a moral code that’s not centered on this but where this is a logical necessary consequence!
You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

a lot of the seemingly contradictory statements from conservatives re: free speech and 2nd amendment rights make a lot more sense when you apply a “they’re lying” heuristic to your analysis
