what is someone who knows they're living in financial precarity supposed to do with “the economy is not as bad as people say” though? are you implying that downplaying their concern doesn't also enable charlatans? it's nice to be technically right about the numbers but not helpful if you lose races

brother I am as open to the suggestion as anyone is! what I'm not doing is accepting it uncritically - hence the article - so what are the people who think the economy is bad missing? why should they think it's good actually?
