anyway, wow, this is what it's like to get a computer that just works right and doesn't have wiring that looks like you threw a bowl of spaghetti in there.

also: my old PC's wifi and bt never worked even though it had that capability bc the last place I used didn't install it right so I used ethernet this whole time

the headphone jack at the top of the case never worked either

all of this is working perfectly on the new pc!!!

the next step is adding an hdd for launching iso's for low-print games that are Out of Control Expensive to buy good quality copies of. i already found a cheap network adapter from a vintage game store in canada and a sata board adapter 😊

I got this one for free a decade ago from a friend who doesn't play many games who also got it for free from someone else hehe

all i had to do was use my old 1.95 fmcb card to run filebrowser and install the newer 1.96 fmcb (region-free) from a usb stick onto a new, used magicgate memory card i ordered and then putting the latest dev vers of mechapwn on that same (now emptied) usb, run the mechapwn elf, and follow prompts
