Six years ago, I wrote most of the Tragedian dialogue for Pathologic 2 in iambic pentameter. I'm back now doing the same for Pathologic 3. I figured it was helpful to write a guide on *how* I did it – in case I get hit by a bus and the team has to carry on without me.

I know these things:

1. I work with excellent puzzle designers

2. Spooky Express is really good

How I know it?

1. I sometimes forget I'm testing a level for a specific reason because I just start solving the puzzle instead

2. I still feel smart solving the same puzzle more than once

i really like them! i've had a few over the past 8ish years. i like using my thumb to maneuver vs moving the mouse (less desk space needed, also good on the couch without a mousepad)

i switched to a vertical mouse for working (to help my wrist) but this is my go to for steam deck on the tv mode

Learned that I am being laid off from Heart Machine, and will be leaving the studio later this month.

it is insane to me that you could basically get two narrative designers who can basically solve any problem within scope constraints. it’s like having people parachute in to rescue whatever you need fixing far beyond what you thought you could get
