Winning a game while starting Tosin, Dewsbury-Hall, and Neto feels like we called our landlord and ask them to increase our rent because we believe in our grind that much.

Considering becoming a Kraken fan. When the Bills were terrible (most of my life) I formed an attachment to the Steelers because of my family. I’ll still root for the Sabres but they are soul-crushingly bad right now with no end in sight.

Looks to me like ditching the 3 -box-3 has made it easier to get the right players on the field to play through their press and get chances.
It maybe has helped once or twice defensively (which is significant) but has affected our build-up more

Getting mad at Disasi for defending when we haven’t defended all season strikes me as a bit disingenuous.
The problem is the attack. No one besides Nico and Cole Palmer are contributing anything.
I think Nkunku is an answer at the 10, but he also struggled today (though he did mostly play 9)

If we’ve arrived at this point now and continue with it going forward (and never see Joao again) then I will accept this result.

The system is designed for Cole Palmer, I think he’s generally doing enough to warrant that. Neto I’ll give a pass to because he had to defend a lot today.

That is a microcosm of where we lost the game. Maybe Fulham’s press is too scary, but we didn’t even try to play through it. And they collected every single long ball from Sanchez. One of those things happening every time is ok, but it can’t be both.
