I love how it will look different next week, forever changing beauty a little bit hidden.

Early start this morning, but totally worth it to laugh and chat with friends over tea and breakfast 🥰

Evening ride home from meeting friends yesterday. Found a road closed to through traffic with roadworks and thought it was a good time to have a go at on road riding with the little one. He enjoyed riding as a group in the dark and chatted happily all the way home 🤩🚲 #familycycling #activetravel

After a full week of school this tiny little champ rode to the opticians and the supermarket without being towed or pushed. He sang and chatted the entire journey and up the steepest parts of the hills he told himself 'I can do it' and he did. He's a machine and only 4 💪🚲 #cycling #bikesky

The local towpath is looking gorgeous this weekend. I needed to visit my local retail park but there was no chance I was going to drive if I could ride & enjoy this instead 😍🍂

Canal towpath covered with fallen autumn leaves and stretching as far as the camera can see with the water to the right The trees arching over the canal and towpath still have some leaves on but are mainly pale greens and yellows. Canal towpath the with water to the right. Again covered in ruset coloured fallen leaves and this time with many floating on the water it almost camouflages it. The trees on either side of the canal and towpath are a beautiful as ready of greens yellows and pale orange.

I'm all for active travel & a reduction in unnecessary car use. But I'd also like to put forward that the world would be happier & feel safer if all motorised vehicles looked like this cracking picture my son drew. 😍
My son drew a picture of his Daddy driving a car with me and himself nearby. It is drawn in a pink pen, the car is smiling and has spotty wheels. To get a idea of his portraiture skills think potato with a smiley face and limbs.
