Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
Tesla Paid Zero Federal Income Tax in 2024, Despite $2.3 Billion in Income
This brings Tesla’s average tax rate over the past three years to 0.4 percent.

It wasn't until I saw author Steven Beschloss mention it that I fully appreciated the fact that Musk knowingly (twice) gave a Nazi salute _behind the Presidential Seal_

That's a stain on the history of this nation—and on the first day of the second Trump presidency, no less—that can never be erased

Californians pay a lot of taxes that wind up supporting red states like South Carolina, so … go ahead. I dare you.

All these people want to vote for representatives that keep kicking them in the back of their knees? Why should the successful states keep picking them back up?

They vote for the people who promise to end social support programs. So why should we keep supporting them?

the important question isn’t “did Harris lose because the left is too woke?” it’s “why isn’t Donald Trump in federal prison?” We’re being subjected to lectures about politics by the people who held all of the power and let this dipshit slip through their grasp.

i know a lot of people are like "live for spite!!!" and i 100% support that if that's what keeps you going but if it doesn't work for you you can live for a variety of reasons, including "read book that isn't out yet", "love", "step on a crunchy leaf", "look at the river", "pat a creature" etc
