It's increasingly obvious that the only requirement to be a pundit at any notable media outlet is the ability to look out the window while it's raining and say that it's sunny.

I linked to an NHRL Instagram post a couple of weeks ago. Asked our content team about the “paintball” reference, and they had no idea where it came from. Now we know!

OK, new AllPlay version of The Networks gets the official designer thumbs-up. Jeff Fraser made these tweaks while I was down for the count, and he did a masterful job sanding down the game's rougher edges.

All this is being done with a heavy heart. I'm sad to say that we had to say goodbye to my ferret Dottie, who had a case of lymphoma that went through her very quickly. We only had her for a year. How I wish we could have had her longer. /🧵

Postscript: Harold Lloyd was an amazing silent film slapstick artist, right up there with Chaplin and Keaton. You've probably seen him hanging from a clock in his film Safety Last.

According to this article, for a long time, there was no standard in college football to indicate whether home or visiting team would be listed first in a score. wtop.com/news/2014/12...
Excerpt from an article. The relevant bit: "...early college football results appear to have been marked arbitrarily, such as the college scores from the Trenton Evening Times of Oct. 20, 1912, which show home teams listed first and last, even when both won their games."
