Whoa.😯

Drat! Paywalled again!🤦🏿
December 2, 2025 at 1:33 AM
@mets.com Please tell us that 2026 will be the year the club FINALLY does the right thing -- especially in the 40th anniversary of the '86 World Series Champion team -- and officially retires the late, great Gary Carter's No. 8. #Mets #GaryCarter #RetireCartersNunber8

Would a kind #Mets fan out there PLEASE unplug the paywall on this story and post it? And I KNEW I wasn't crazy in thinking that Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor didn't get along well last year. You could sense that in watching on TV.

😂I used to joke that if Fred Flintstone were Latino, he'd be Ramon Castro. Loved him. He was known in the clubhouse for having a great sense of humor. On the field, he brought a clutch bat and strong defensive skills. He had his biggest moment in '05 in the stretch run w/a 3-run jack vs Philly.

#Mets news: According to @nypostsports.bsky.social reporter Dan Bartels:

Another quality starter off the board for #Mets. Given this contract's length, not surprised, given Stearns's track record, that he didn't bite. Hope he's lining something up on the trade route to fix our biggest and most glaring weakness.
November 26, 2025 at 11:21 PM
A #Mets starting pitching trade possibility is now off the board. He had a great year last year and has been steady for quite some time. Could've filled in nicely for a year or two until the kids are fully ready.
November 25, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Sure would be nice if he could be our setup man if we re-sign Edwin Díaz.

If any of you read my last post, I guess I should be careful what I wish for...😯

@freodocker.bsky.social All done, mate!

MLB trades and signings are starting to really pick up. This one is very interesting: A 13-game winning RH starter last year is traded straight up for a RH, OF bat who last year hit 36 HRs.

Whoa, #fremantledockers fans, this is REALLY happening! It's surreal that someone I extensively wrote about years ago in my book is now gonna be on OUR side.

#Mets news got so much better today!
Hallelujah!!!
November 18, 2025 at 8:20 PM
Meanwhile, some -- very rare -- good political news!
November 18, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Yes. #Mets need to do this.
November 18, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Well, for those of us #Mets fans who liked him as a possible free agent signing, he's now off the board...
November 17, 2025 at 1:22 AM
Here's what I filled myself with: A delicious Hawaiian breakfast at a restaurant called Aloha Stacks, in Whittier -- ube pancakes with coconut cream, kalua pig, and scrambled eggs.😋

@hollycullenfreo.bsky.social Hey there! Whaddaya think of our men's fixture next year? I'm gonna have a HEAP of wee hours starts in the first 14 rounds, including at least three on school days!🥴
November 13, 2025 at 3:59 AM
@rghood.bsky.social Well, then, mate, you being a St Kilda man, I know you recognize THIS bloke standing next to me, nine years ago, right?🤔
November 11, 2025 at 4:10 AM
Any fellow #Mets fans ever heard of this guy?

Congratulations to the 35 million Americans who'll now have their healthcare premiums balloon to unaffordable levels, because these eight sellouts voted yesterday with Republicans to reopen the government. But hey, billionaires will get the tax break they want.🙄
