Where the range of the expanding European pine marten population meets that of the grey squirrel, the population of the grey squirrels quickly retreats and the red squirrel population recovers. Because the grey squirrel spends more time on the ground than the red squirrel, which co-evolved with the pine marten, they are thought to be far more likely to come in contact with this predator.

one of my bd treats was this Iscsler Mrs Wife bought home.

It's from a local cake shop. The owner numbers each individual piece. The flower was added as it's a treat for me; normally there isn't one.
