Today is my sister’s Michelle’s bday. She died in late 2023. She loved the beach, so I visit each year in her memory, picking a perfect shell to mark the day. It was so cold this year, and I had climb over snow banks to get there, but the sea was absolutely sparkling.

I can share here without spoiling the surprise. My 14yo daughter spent most of an international flight this summer drawing Hank from photos because she missed her dog a lot on vacation. I just ordered this as a 30"x30" poster for her as a Christmas gift.
